Today is Thanksgiving Day in the United States [in Canada it is celebrated the same date as Columbus Day in the States].
To all of the very fine American people who post in the Forums of Cat/Dog/Pet of the Day, Murray and I AKA KatMa and Paw-Paw wish you a wonderful day today. Thanksgiving in both countries is a very special day -- a time to be thankful that we are living in democratic, free societies, a time to be thankful for family, pets and friends and a time to reach out to others who need a helping hand.
I spent every day this week watching Martha Stewart and guests prepare for Thanksgiving Day. Since Canadian Thanksgiving has past I've saved her tips for next year!
Our wish is each of you enjoy and be thankful for the bountiful blessings of living in a democratic country.
