As you can see, Candy and Tom had the task of supervising the dryed laundry being sorted and put away the other night. It was quite a task as you will see from the pile of clothes. But also note the efficient smoothing of the pile of towels which they are both doing equally well!!

Despite being a pair of sleepyheads, and flagging fast, the helping continues

Worn out! tom puss has decided he has had enough!

As you will see (bad me!) I don't even have the decency to provide adequate sleeping accommodation for him! (the cupboard you can see houses the central heating boiler so it is quite simply the toastiest spot in the whole house!) :D :D

Candy and Tom, I feel your pain! I am overworked here too! All day long, work, work, work. They even expect me to press my daddy's trousers in my sleep!

And you have such Handsome Helpers, besides.
You are so fortunate to have them,as Good Help is hard to find.

Dear Candy and Tom, Amy here! Greetings from the sunny south from all Laura's Babies.
I know exactly how you feel, our Meowmie keeps saying she needs to do her wash too and you should SEE the pile she has to do..... and she said she has more in her boat suitcase. How can ONE OLD LADY dirty up so much STUFF???? We always try to help her with the folding and holding them down on the floor in those piles she puts them in when they are dirty, sometimes holding our breath for the odor! It is extreemly hard work and wears us kitties OUT! I am just glad I have Chester, Giz and Samantha to help (but Samantha PLAYS to much!). So seeing those piles of dirty stuff, I know I better rest up. Here is a picture of me resting yesterday and I am doing the same today.. She'll start that machine anytime now! Amy
PS... Me resting!

hey fellow pals, especially Samantha and Amy, we think that a formation of a Kitty Laundry Union is in order to protect us poor furkids from such intolerable conditions. We think it is bordering on the Dickensian, from the looks of our treatment - don't you agree??
Wouldn't it be good to band together to fight these issues. We mean, have you ever been hounded out of the washing machine, where you had been having a cool game of submarines, just because THEY needed clean clothes.
However we would not object on anyone's behalf to the lying-down-on-clothes-fresh-from-the-tumble-dryer, as we all know the warmth and cosy benefits to be gained from that.
membership would be free and we would, with the legal assistance of our comrade Groucho, purrsue any laundry related issues in Cat Court, that is those not capable of resolution across the table.
We'll need to sort out office bearers, meeting times etc. of course, but we think the KLU would be kept very, very busy! :D :D
Yours in furryhood
Max, Candy and Tom.
