I don't come to the dog side very often because I haven't been owned by a dog in many, many years.
Some of you may have heard of IMOM, an organization of volunteers to raise funds for medical treatment for sick pets whose owners can't afford large vet bills.
The recent loss of Balor (a young Irish Wolfhound) has touched me deeply. I don't know why. I never met him. He and his family live thousands of miles away, but over the 10 days of fund raising and updates from his family, I fell in love with him.
I've cried for almost 2 days straight for a dog I never knew, but loved dearly. :(
You can read all about Balor and see photos at: http://p088.ezboard.com/fimomcommunityfrm19.showMessage?topicID=829.topic
I don't know why I'm posting this, but for some reason it makes me feel better to let others know that there was a Balor who was loved and adored by everyone he met and most of those who never met him too!
