:) I went out today to spend time and ride Molly...well since I've got her, she hasn't really understood her leads (which leg to lope on, depending on what side of the arena she's on...). Well, I've been taking time and trying to teach her, and today she finally caught on. Once while changing leads going down the diagonal..I brought her back to a trot for one stride then picked up her left lead, and twice while being asked to pick up a lope. She strongly favors her right lead, I think because of her bad knee, and rarely picks up the left, so it was a huge success for me. It's really nice to have finally taught her something useful. And then of course we got caught in the back pasture when a huge Florida rainstorm hit (I swear it was sunny 5 minutes before) and we got soaked, but I had a lot of fun. I haven't been able to get out to see her in about two weeks, I've been so busy. Anyways, thanks for listening! :D

Cool! That is so great! :D I remember the sweat and toil I went through to teach Player his leads. I at first was like, " What's lope? --Oh canter"

Thanks everyone. :) Yes I know, I have to go out and get more pictures of her. Maybe sometime this weekend, as long as its sunny. I try and keep her clean, it dosen't work so well though sometimes. I swear I'll never have another horse with white legs.
I think leads are so hard to teach. Now it's on to flying lead changes... :p I think we'll stick to the basics for a little while though.
