Our fridge broke so we have nothing but spoiled food:(

well our fridge broke yesterday. We hardly had anything for breakfast and we couldn't even drink milk or else it would spoil in a matter of hours. We are going to buy a new fridge today and hopefully go grocery shopping too. Well it kinda sucks not having any food in your fridge:(

My fridge broke last year on christmas day...that was fun....my hubby fixed it 2 days later but I had fun, luckily we also have a fridge in the garage but it got pretty crowded.

Well, that's one good thing about living up North - for several months of the year, if the fride broke down, well, we can just put stuff on the porch so long as it can be frozen! ;)

Good luck on buying a new one, the good news is they make more energy-efficient ones now, so you'll save on your electricity bill!

Actually we put a lot of stuff out on our porch, even though I am in california in december it gets pretty cold.

I wish we could put stuff on our porch, but it is to hot here. Well my step dad just left to go buy a fridge. I was getting kinda tired of our old fridge anyway! :p :rolleyes:

Yeah I was ready to buy another fridge, I HATE the side by side and wanted a freezer at the bottom fridge but Hubby had to fix it :mad:

Yea, we had one that was side by side, but my mom told my step- dad to buy one with the freezer on the top.

well, we just bought our fridge! It is a little smaller than our old fridge but it is still pretty big. I really like this one because it is the one witht the freezer on the top. Our old fridge was the one that had them side by side. we have gotten the new fridge all set up. Now all we have to do is buy FOOD! LOL. ;) :D

Broken fridge? A PERFECT excuse to HAVE to go eat out!! Ya'll didn't let a chance like that pass you by did you? Heck, I would have discouraged running right out to get another one and eaten out!

Same situation over here!! Lol. We bought a new fridge, and put our food in it and had it plugged in and everything, and in the morning, we realized that it wasnt getting cold, so we had NO food for like 3 days, because I refused to eat the food that was in the fridge that got warm. The fridge was BRAND new, and an Amana, and it didnt work, so we got another one, and that wont be here untill the 22nd :rolleyes:

Our old fridge broke while everyone was at school or work so when we got home we noticed a small puddle next to the freezer. We opened it up and saw that all the ice melted and it smelled awful, like spoiled food. We cleaned out our old fridge and had to throw away EVERYTHING. Well good news is we went out to eat two days in a row. ;) Luckily our new fridge is working.
