Which animal do you think is most easy to photograph?

I was just flipping through some pictures I took of the birds and the dogs and thought to myself, "Birds are such majestic creatures. Their colors, their poses...they just pour over with beauty and life." Even my worst pictures look like portraits with these birds. Dogs, on the other hand, are so difficult for me to photograph. So it just got me wondering...Which animal do you think is most easy to photograph (for you)? For me, birds are by far much simpler to photograph WELL :p

Dogs are the easiest for me to photograph by far, and cats are the hardest. It seems whenever I take out the camera, the dogs are right there ready to pose. :p

Definitely dogs for me, probably because that's what I'm most used to though.

I have a much easier time photographing my cats than I do my dogs or Birds.

I think dogs are because they listen the best for me.

Dogs are the easiest for me because you can train them and pose them. ;)

Cats are a close second, but only because mine are lazy and sleep... a lot.. so you can get lots of sleeping pics! They aren't as trainable as dogs though and you can't really pose them, cats are more independent and do their own thing.

I've never tried anything other than cats and dogs though, so I can't say about the others!

I'm not sure, we have cats a dog and rats and I don't seem to be able to take decent pictures of any of them!

I voted for dogs, but horses are very easy to photograph as well. Animals like gerbils, hamsters, rats, etc. are a pain in the butt to photograph. I've never photographed birds, and hardly have done cats.

for me its birds, because I prefere natural photos over posed, but my dogs like to stay so close to me that its impossable for me to take decent unposed pictures of them, I mean I occaionally manage to get the nice unpossed picture, but its hardly easy. but my bird is so curious , affentionat and independent that getting nice candid pictures are easy.

Horses...even if they are doing something you completely don't want them to do, it makes a cute picture. Some dogs can be easy to photograph, and others-not.

Small animals (rodents, etc) are hard to photograph, IMO. They're too active to get good shots. :)

Hmmm...hard choice, a few of my dogs are easy to take pictures of and the others not so much. I think dogs are the easiest though because you can pose them and they'll listen. My kittens are extremely hard to take pictures of, they always want to be super close to the camera and I always get pictures of their foreheads :rolleyes: The guinea pigs are also hard to get pictures of because they don't sit still.

Sometimes it is hard to take pictures of Niño because he gets nervous when the camera comes out, but at dog shows it is a lot easyer to photograph them with their handlers. I voted horses but only when they are outside and in the field or turnout.
