Hello everyone, I posted this in the wrong place but now am in the right catagory. I have a 2 yr old female cat and everything I eat, she wants. I do not care what it is she wants to have a bite. Does anyone else have this problem and what do you do? I would appreciate any advice I can get, she is very insistent and like I said it does not matter what it is she wants some of mine. I am the only one she does this too, sometimes she goes to my husband but mostly to me.
Hope someone out there can tell me why cats like our food better.

Hi, yes I have this same problem with my almost 8 month old kitten Starr. He's also food aggressive and always seems to be hungry. I think that he just wants attention because sometimes I'll give him a piece of what I'm eating and he doesn't even want it. I also have to put him in my bedroom sometimes while I'm eating because he's such a pest. Good luck.

I used to have a cat named Sadie who would sit on her own chair at dinner with us. She would wait for a bit of food to be offered to her, and then she would usually bump it with her nose and gallop in the other direction, as if offended that we should offer her such an inedible morsel. But she did want to be included.
