I would never let this Gorgeous Cat out at that time of day.
I hope shes visible,as I took a shot of her through the screen door.
Never mind, somebody at Photo Bucket is screwing this up.

Is she pregnant? She's HUGE, and either very well-fed, or expecting babies, from what I can see. Is she still around there today? I hope she's safe, and has a loving home! Her hoomans must be worried about her if she's "lost".

Those Canadian cats are not stupid! They know where to go to take a vacation from their families. Those stray cats have marked that house, leaving signs that there is good food, warm beds and lot of love at the Found Cats Hotel, it is so well marked that even the cats with homes drop by there! The picture came out great to have been taken in the dark through a screen door.
Definitely too well fed for a stray, maybe she's lost?

Wow, that is one BIG cat Gary. She definitely looks like she is well fed.
There are so many times that we see a different cat hanging around on the street for a couple of days and then all of a sudden, we don't see them anymore. I like to think that they just went back home.

I dont think that shes with Kitten,as she is BIG all over.
And Hungry, she knocked over the Blue Box,and licked every can clean. And cuffed Nugget, and scraed Scratchy.
Maybe Etta Catfood would be a better name as she reminds me of Etta Candy from the Wonder Woman Comics.

She is a force to be reckoned with.

I think it's the neon sign that says "OPEN 24 hrs." that sucks them in!

Richard,I think its the series of signs, not unlike the Burma Shave Signs of yore.
An Old Shaving Cream, that advertised years ago, with signs posted along the Highway.
If You are Hungry
And have Nothing to eat
The Fat Balding Geezer
Will give you a nice tasty Treat
The Found Cat Hotel turns noone away
So come and gobble, drive your hunger away.
And No Cat Goes Hungry here.

Gary,
She's sweet looking. She MUST be someone's pet, being so "SVELTE". But, as RICHARD said, it must be the neon sign that attracts them.
Since I moved into my apt. in CT, there are 2 strays I named Mamacita and Sonny, that I share feeding responsibilities with. I'll try to get pictures of them this weekend. Mamacita is a beautiful long-haired grey and white with an eat notch (meaning she's been spayed). Sonny, her baby, is black with a round head and a white spot on the side of his back end. They do let me pet them but are a bit skittish.

We still have some of those signs near Ft. Wayne Indiana.
LOVE your poem Gary :D
