Yayyy! Another birdy addition soon!

I found a woman who has a couple handfed babies left. :D I'm getting a whiteface pearl pied 7 week old baby.. hopefully this weekend. I can't believe it'll be my fifth birdy! :eek:

Oh my god you are so incredibly lucky. I had my heart set on a pearl pied teal but I just couldn't get my hands on one. There aren't many in my area. You must be so excited! I have to admit I am a bit jealous ;) Do you have name ideas yet? Please post pictures ASAP!! I wonder how your other four will react to another bird?

:D Will do! The breeder thinks it's a male so I think I'll name it Ozzie.

It's gonna be slightly cramped in the cage but I guess it's alright since they get lots of time out of the cage.. and they each have their own perch.

^.^ aww, you're so lucky! Thats definitely my favorite tiel coloring! Are all 7 tiels in one cage? I'd definitely be careful adding him in with a group of adults... I got a young hand-fed tiel when I had 2 adults, and they had to be seperated from her because they constantly picked on her.

Silly Erica! I have four! I'm kind of worried about how the others will treat the new one but if I have to, I have another cage I can house the new one in.. maybe with Allie since she's younger and such a sweet heart.

Not yet. I REALLY hope I'm getting him today.. I told the woman that I would be coming by around 4-5 yesterday to pick him up. I called around 2 just to make sure she was there. Turns out she wasn't so the person who answered said he'd tell her to call me back. She never called me back. I'll try again today.
