Regarding Vanilla Coke. As of the first of the year they're discontinuing it. Instead they're coming out with CHERRY Vanilla Coke. Like, DUH!! All their doing is adding cherry to an already existing product. They must think we're really dumb.

Old Fashioned


Dash of bitters
1 sugar cube or 1 tsp. of sugar
1 tsp. water
Cocktail cherry
Orange wedge
2 oz. whiskey or bourbon

*Put bitters, sugar, and water in a glass and stir gently until sugar dissolves. Toss in a cherry and orange wedge. Add enough ice cubes to fill the glass and pour in bourbon. More ice can be added if desired.

Just winding down after a long day at work. I think I'll take a double BM to go. Just going to veg tonight and tomorrow I'll see our local parade and attend the ceremonies at the cenotaph. It wasn't that long ago I used to march in a Pipe Band on Remembrance Day.....or Veteran's Day as you people call it. I'll make sure to pack lots of kleenex in my pocket.

Ladys human, Luckly I have a Mechanic for a son in law and he owes me $$$ so I get by just buying parts. May owe me more as they are pregnant and can't get assistance and have little to pay on doc bill (ya I know they were stupid to try to get pregnant I told them that already) so we may have to help with the obgyn bill. Got to have the best for a healthy grandbaby.
Plus my car is a Montaro Mitibusi (ya an import) I love it though and it carries 2 newfies just fine and the family too.
