Chain pet stores and bunnies

i was at a chain pet store and they got in tons of bunnies i saw like 25 or so and they already had lots of rabbits
:mad: I hate it when they do that!
also there is a ringneck parakeet that as been there for like 6 months and nobody has bought it and it looks so sad and scared :(

Have you spoken to the management about your concerns? Many chain stores are either franchises or under control of a local manager, it cannot hurt to try.

Yes, definitely speak to teh manager. If anything else, there should be a hotline you can call to report the store for animal neglect/abuse.

I remember at my PetCo we would have rabbits but NO more than three at a time in the cage, and they were always males ;)
