:( On Saturday, my dwarf hamster Maximus passed away. I'm gonna miss the little guy.

Maximus is survived by his momma, Kimmy, his brothers, Minimus, Chance, Reebok, Converse, Onneka, and Scooter, and his sister, Kia.

Oh, so sorry to hear he's gone on to the rainbow bridge! I've so enjoyed his picture with Chance: he was a brave little furbaby. {{{hugs}}}

Awwwwwww. I'm so sorry to hear about Maximus's death. It is always so sad that these little hamster friends can't have longer lives. We lost our Phoebe earlier this year, and we still miss her so much.

I did always love that picture too. :)

Thanks guys.

He just went in his sleep. I hope he wasn't in pain. He was playful and fine when I left Friday. My sister thought he was sleeping but when my mom called for him on Saturday, he didn't respond and she found he had passed on. :(

I'm sure Rusty, Sable, and Nike were there to greet him when he went over the bridge. :)

I will be thinking about you. That is a simply wonderful picture. Just wonderful. Who would think that a cat and a hammy could get along so well.
I have never had a hamster, but I think the dwarf ones are very cute.

A hamster was the very first pet I ever had, and I agree, they just don't live long enough! :( It's always very sad to lose a pet, so I'm thinking about you!

I'm glad I got to spend some time with Maximus, however short. He and his brother were my first hamsters and I had a lot of fun with them. My sister liked to help me take care of them. :)

I'm glad I have a picture of him that will make anyone smile. :D

So sorry to hear about the lose of your little hamster. I kept hamsters to but I lost a few and it broke my heart so i gave up in the end. To upsetting.

Here is New York one of my favorite who died about 10 yrs ago now but I still miss him.
