I thought it would be nice to start a thread suggesting some kitty Christmas gifts.Where I live I find that every store I go to has the same stuff. Not to much out there for cats.Maybe some people have homemade gift ideas, links to websites,or gift ideas they had in the past.I would love to hear your great ideas. :D

I usually participate in the PT Xmas Gift Swap so they get LOTS of Christmasey stuff from other PT members. They have their own stockings that I sometimes fill with new toys (like they need more, right?)

This year I think they're getting a new PetFresh fountain as the pump has died in the onw I have for them - those things don't last too long, do they?

They also might get one of those cat-spa things. I just received the new Foster & Smith catalogue and it has some nice Xmas things in there too. We'll see.

The kitties better not see this ;) I'm actually going "furkid(and lizard) Christmas shopping" next week.

This year I am getting both of them a Kitty Condo. Probably one with only one hole/opening, as they definatly won't share one.

Here's a picture- http://www.catsplay.com/kcud11.jpg

They will get a few toys between them. Emma will also get lots of 'nip, she's an addict ;) And Tigger will get lots of temptations.

They will also get some gifts from the gift swap :)

It seems that no matter what we give Groucho for Christmas, his favorite is the wrapping paper and boxes. As for other ideas, you might want to check out the site for ordering Pet Talk Cat Calendars, they have some pretty cute pet things in their catalogue!

What is the cat spa?

I'd love to get my guys a kitty condo (or cajole my husband into making one) so they can climb and scratch and perch.

Lots of catnip and Temptations, of course!

Maybe some new mice for Archy and a few glitter balls for Binky!

Felix has 2 cat condos one I bought at walmart for $60.00 and the other one his daddy made for him last week because he cant fit inside the hole in the old one  But he loves plays with both.

Here is a photo of the one I got at walmart..no pictures of the homemade one yet.

I want to get Sash a small kitty condo, he's 13 now and can you believe he never had a cat condo! :( Except for a very small one when he was a kitten. So probably this year and some more catnip toys as usual. Food of course and some shrimp treats and whatever else I think he may like. :D

Both of my kitties get a stocking every year. Their gifts aren't anything too exicting, they each get a bag of treats, some furry mice, catnip and a few other random toys.

My cats are so spoiled that they have just about everything already. :) I found out about a new product called paw breakers so I think I may order some of these for them for Christmas. Here's the link: Paw Breakers (http://www.pawbreakers.com/prodinfo.html).

Cupcake usually gets a few toys (which che uses for a day or two and then tires of, and some canned food. She used to get a new bed every year, but she loves her current one so much that she would never forgive us if we replaced it. I found a really pretty collar for her this year too, although that's more for the humans than actually for her. :)

Welllllllllllll ~ I don't buy anything specifically FOR them, but as far as they are concerned, EVERYTHING belongs to them. The bows and ribbons are for them, the ornaments are for them, the tree is just one big cat tower as far as they are concerned. (We wrap fishing line around the tree and anchor it to the wall so that it doesn't crash down 300 times a day). Here are a couple of typical Christmas scenes at our house:

LMAO I cant stop laughing.I can relate.Last year I never Put up a large tree because I knew Felix would have it down in no time!!So I put a little one on top of my sofa table, and found myself picking up ornments all over the house everytime I came home. Than I could'nt put gifts out either(even wrapping them with him in the same room was a challenge ;) ),because he would tear off all the wrapping paper. He was only a kitten last year,so Im thinking he is going to be well behaved this year.Well he is a year older and is after mellowing out alot since I got him neautered.I will be putting up the large tree this Christmas in the Living room and im going to be really brave and put up a table top one in the rec room..wish me luck :p
