with a cat. Eddie in particular likes to "help" me read the paper. I have finally found a way to do it. I open two sections of the paper.

When he stands on one...I read the other...back and forth....

The stories get a bit jumbled and disjointed....sometimes hurricanes end up in the wrong state...but at least I get it read..... :D :D

That's one way to make sure Eddie gets plenty of exercise - keep him moving from section to section!

I'm sure Miss Edwina is only interested in the fashion section, eh? :D

When we're sitting on the couch watching TV, if Peanut comes up looking for attention, she must have some paper to lay on in between us. She seems to prefer the TV guide that comes with the Sunday paper, but has made due with various motorhome magazines/brochures/manuals. If I see her coming up, I make sure to pick up whatever I want to read before she jumps up, or somehow she seems to know that's what I want to read so she won't settle down on anything else. :rolleyes: :D

Diamond and Moby in particular like to do that. They'll lie on any piece of paper. They have helped me fill out taxes, job applications, etc. over the years, and also pre-screened any newspapers!

We poor Europeans don't have enough space to adopt the technique.
Plus: Tigris can cover two sections :D

WHAT IS IT about newspapers that our kitties love so much??? :confused: Shadow ALWAYS has to "help" me when I'm reading mine, too. I like your idea of laying out two pages, and reading one while Eddie is on the other. I'll have to try that sometime.....

I will have to try that part of putting two sections out so I can read one while the cats lay on the other. Good idea.
