Use the left over fish bowls to make a drink!!!
Roman Holiday Punch
1/2 Cup Lemon Juice, 1 Fifth each of Marsala Wine, Rose Wine, and Brandy, 1 Pint Rasberry Sherbert
Mix all ingredients together except sherbert and chill. Add Sherbert just before serving. (Makes about 18 servings.)

Party On!!
Hi everyone. I'll be back!

For whatever reason, probably because it's cold, dreary and raining/drizzling, raspberry sherbert sounds absolutely scrumptious to me right now! I'll take a bowl of that, minus the alcohol. :)

I'll take one of those but make sure to take the fish out of the bowl first.

I'll take one of those DOTD barkeep.
Piece of trivia for you - this is the 20th anniversary of the first time travel experiment in Back to the Future. How do I know?
My company is having their annual bowling/costume party this Friday. This year's theme was "I Heart The 80's" and my team is using Back to the Future as our theme.
I'm going as the Delorean. :D

10-26-2005, 03:38 PM
Richard, I'll take a DOTD minus the fish as well. (Maybe put all the fish out in the pond out back)
Kfamr, about the CNT for dogs, what about a nice bowl of beef bullion for the pupsters? I'm sure Lady would love it, or how about going whole hog (or cow as the case may be) and doing a nice pot of beef stew?

sherbert? I always see the ice cream stores packed on cold days... Probably because all those people (myself included) are in denial that it's winter or just because ice cream is a happy food and on a cold dreary day, happy food makes one .... happy :p

Hey everybody! :)
I'm ready to par-TA! The boss is gone for...check this out...11 days!!! Yes, count them, eleven days! He won't be back to work until November 7th! I can't believe it because in the 13 1/2 years I've been here, he has never taken that much time off at once!! Wooo hooo! The good news is he will be checking in now and then. Seems every single customer has a major crisis the minute he is out of touch.
So, I'll take a DOTD....all 18 servings if you don't mind making more. ;)
Kay, seeing as how the pups like Greenies so much, how about Greenie tea? Just boil a few greenies for awhile and walla! :D I didn't want to go along with the beef stew idea because that sounds pretty good to me! Sure I'll have a couple of bowl fulls if you're making PC. ;)
Gee.....a couple bowls of stew, all 18 servings of the DOTD....seems I'm being a bit of a glutton today.... :p :D

It's 59 degrees outside and they are wearing shorts!!
Hey PC,
Welcome back....The nice part about feeding the dogs beef stew is not having to wash dishes afterwards!! ;)
DONE?
thanks!
LH,
One Roman Holiday, no fish...
Do you want all 18 servings?
Oh man....beef stew and homemade bread!!! :)

'Morning everyone! :)
It's a little early for a DOTD, and I'm quitting coke - again - so how about some coffee with Slick's Baileys? She sent me a note telling me where she hid some secret stash and thankfully Mario didn't find it first. ;)

YIKES!! I woke up this morning (as I have for the last several mornings) in UTAH. Sun is shining and it's going to hit 70 degrees this afternoon. My son back East says it's 50's and rainy the last few days. I should feel bad about that but, oh well. hehehehe. I'm at the Human Genetics show working my tail off so only have time for a slug of whatever's handy. Thanks. What are fish doing all over the place? Oh, the back stroke  I met Wolf-Q (Amy) for dinner two nights ago and met NEBO!!! I love Nebo. I met Reggie and Sydney (her other two dogs) as well. Great fun to travel around and meet PT'ers. ooops... another surge of folks coming in. Gotta run... behave ;)

A prehensile tail could be useful! Sometimes you just need a third "hand" so a tail would fit the bill just fine.
It's just cold and raw here. I think I'll have a hot cocoa with some Rumplemintz and whipped cream.
(Rumplemintz=really good peppermint Schnapps! Yum)

I can't believe I have frittered away the entire day! I've answered the phone a few times, but other than that, I haven't done a lick of work all day! Gotta love when the boss is on vacation. :D

Can I get a LARGE cherry vanilla coke and 4 catnip teas???

LOL,
The "jim" reference is to the Sci-Fi series, Star Trek.
The doctor on the space ship was asked, by the captain, if a wounded crew member would survive... I think that he line he responds with is...
" Dammit Jim, I'm a doctor not a miracle worker..."
Someone will correct me- I know that's not the exact quote!
Oh yeah!! Scan the bill and get sent to jail for counterfeiting.....Just take my word for it, OK?? :p
Gini's buying so....
Pepsi for the little lady and roman holidays for the rest of us!!!

Kay, if Simba wants a greenie stirring stick, Simba gets a greenie stirring stick! :D
Yeah, $2.00 bills, Sac. coins, Susan B. Anthony coins, you name it, I've got it. My mom has one of those book thingys that they used to make and you'd save pennies in it, plus a bunch of other "valuable" coins. The one time I was visiting and had my laptop along. We tried to find the real value of all her "valuable" coins and we determined they were worth about 5 cents more than their face value. So much for being "valuable." However, she put them right back in their box and right back in her drawer. Valuable or not, she wasn't getting rid of them. :D
