Chester here. Mom is outside feeding the stray kitties so I will tell of my adventure this morning. Mom went to the door and let Big Foots in the house. Course I was brave and protected her...oh, oh...

Oh, Oh, is right young man! Just what are you doing? Who taught you to use the computer? And what have you been telling people? Let me see... Brave, huh? You were the first one under the bed. What happened was when I went to change the light bulb in the bedroom light fixture, the fixture fell apart. (My dad always said it was dangerous for me to change a light bulb. He was right!) Anyway, I was lucky enough to get an electrician to come and look at it. He was able to put it back together but will need to put in a new fixture next week. The only electrician I could get on the weekend, just happened to have worked with my father years ago. And Chester calls him Big Foots!!!! (That's his name for men because he's used to my dainty tootsies) Well Chester, my lad, he will be back next week. I hope you have your hiding place all picked out!

How do your pets act when repairmen come into the house? Mine all hide except old Leroy. He just watches all the fun.

The flat owner or her workman are here sometimes... At first, C & K ran into bedroom and stayed there until they were gone. Now, they run there also, but Kitty will come out within few minutes. A week ago the flat owner was here, and Kitty was standing behind her, look on her face said " yo woman, pet me! and pet me now!" That was so cute! Casper was checking the situation out from far...

My two cats absolutely hate work men of any kind. I think it is who they come dressed and their big boots to. My oldest cat tatty used to open the cupboard door and hide in theri for the whole day.

Okay, it depends on what kind or repairmen we are talking about. The Beans run and hide at first but I think it's only because when someone comes to the door "Loud Mouth Louie" MUST inform EVERYONE within our neighborhood that someone is at the door! Once the repair person is in the house then the Beans want to "Help".:D

Edwina ADORES repairmen. She parades past them, stands around and watches them, climbs in their tool boxes. Once she liked the furnace repairman soooo much... she did her business in her sand box for him! We joke that she wants to be a plumber when she grows up!

Freckles is never shy when service people visit. Recently I needed a new floor installed in the kitchen and Frecks kept tabs on the progress. http://home.sprintmail.com/~jwalborn/_uimages/frecksfloor.jpg

Joan!! What a cute picture!!! I love how my repair people are so nice to Mimi and Butter, and amazed at how nice my kitties are to them!! I'm always telling them "don't touch Butter", but he rubs on them like he just found his long lost best friend!! LOL!! Wonder why he treats me so bad??? :o

Whether planned or unplanned when a service guy comes to the house the bunnies ignore him/them. BUT what's so great is that the repair people are fascinated by the bunnies and then want to stop and talk and - if the buns are caged to keep them out of the way - the repair guy, nine times out of ten will ask if I can open the cage and if the buns can come out! It is so funny to see these bug burly guys talk about the buns and then of course we get into story hour if they had one as a kid. It's great!!!!!! :D
