I finally found a place that had more than just veil tails!

Ever since I caught the Betta bug with my first Betta Korkie (who passed recently :(), I thought that maybe I'd like to breed them one day (Erica, you're a bad, bad, bad influence on me :p). I still have lots to learn but the woman at the store (who breeds them as well) was really nice and helped me pick out the Bettas that would make a good match.

Sorry about the quality of the pics.. the batteries for my Canon are dead and I can't find the charger. :o I had to use the crummy Sony.


The girls first..

Here's Bellatrix. I'm not sure what fin type she is but the woman who bred her said that she carries the genes for Halfmoons and might make a good match for one of my new guys.

Lucius, the 5 month old Halfmoon! The woman suggested that I breed Lucius and Narcissa as she has good genes and he has strong rays..

I'll post more pictures once they get settled in their tanks and I manage to get more batteries. :)

They are gorgeous. Congrats on all your new bettas. That is alot at a time, but it was worth every penny of it. ;) Thanks for sharing.
