Hi, it's me! I just had a pc technician here, and he found out that it's "only" the ps/2-port of my mouse that does not work anymore. Also, I had a virus.

Right now, I'm working with a usb mouse which means I cannot use my scanner anymore, but at least my pc is working again.

I hope to have two weeks off in November and then I will finally get a new pc. I should have done that a long time ago, as this one is really old and messed up. :(

Whew that was close! Get a USB hub - they're relatively inexpensive and give you more USB ports to use. That's what I had to do when I broke the front USB ports on my PC by accidentally stepping on the camera cord :rolleyes:

Thanks for the advice. That sound like a useful thingy.

But I won't spend anymore money on this pc. It's old and still running with Win98, and it has no dvd writer. Besides, could be my main board is dying, so maybe the ps/2-port is only the beginning. The sooner I get the new pc, the better!
