My cat is a 2 yr old female and she is a very active and nosey cat. This evening she got into the chocolate bar my grandson left lying around, and she ate about 1/2 square, it was caramel and chocolate. My granddaugher also left a glow in the dark rubbery type bracelet on the floor and Lilbit got it and I think she ate a piece of it. We could not find but two pieces, do you think it will hurt her? I have not called the emergency vets, she seems fine but this only happened around 3:30 am this morning. All replys would be welcome.

I don't believe that Chocolate is good for cats. Hopefully, someone else will respond to this, but I would keep an eye on her.

furrykidsmother is right - Chocolate is not good for cats; in fact it can be toxic. I'd call a vet to ask what to do.

:) I want to thank each of your for your replies. I called the emergency vet today and she said most cats did not like sweets. Well I have a very unusual cat, they told me to watch her for vomiting and diarrhea and distress. She has been fine today, she has not eaten as much as usual but I am sure that was from the bit of chocolate she had eaten.
Thanks for making me feel welcome.
