It depends, because the definitions for the sizes differ a lot. For some, a 50 - 60 pound dog is medium sized, but to others it is large.

My pups, full grown, will be about 60 pounds. HOWEVER I haven't had them weighed in awhile so I don't know lol

I think a more accurate poll would have choices like
0 - 10 pounds
11 - 25
25 - 60

or something like that :)

I'd classify Tia as small - 6 pounds - 6 inches tall

Tango is medium - 36 pounds - roughly 18 inches tall (I can't remember exactly at the moment...)

I voted the Dobes as large although some people might say X large:

Keeva - 45 pounds - 21 inches tall (she's underweight though because of who ever had her previously...)

I have 5 dogs differing sizes. Happy and Misty are medium, B;air is sort of on the edge of small and medium, perky and Blair are small. Ripley is the smallest dog I would ever want to live with, he is 18lbs lol but my mom likes her dogs just his size, I like bigger the better lol

MAXIMUS, I guess would be large to xlarge. I always have to fit him for
one or the other. He doesn't always fit exactly to either.

My Rufus is a Great Pyrenees, his weight- 169lbs, he's over weight.-2 1/2yrs.
Nugget is a Golden Retriever his weight- 76lbs, he's over weight.-8yrs.
Jake is a Shephard/ Collie mix his weight 56lbs, he's a little under weight.13 3/4 yrs :D
This was at last vet check in July, 2005-- for all of them. :D

Nala is around 65 and 2 feet at the sholders, she's a bit chunky and could loose 2 or so pounds. (IMO)

Simba is 55(?) and i'm not sure how tall.

Kiara is 40(?) and i'm not sure how tall.


To me - Nala is large and both Kiara and Simba are medium.

Duncan is X-Large/Huge.... He only weighs about 90 lbs but he is VERY tall.

I guess it's all relative though...I mean, Duncan is larger and taller than probably 98% of dogs in the world but put him next to Anna's Bon or one of the Great Danes like Sahara and he won't look so big!! :eek: :p

Nebo weighs about 60 lbs, give or take a couple of lbs...I think he's a bit too big for medium but a bit too small for large. ;)

Reggie is about 20 lbs. Sydney is about 17 lbs. So they are small-medium I guess?

Maggie is x-small maybe. She weighs 7 pounds. Maybe she could be called small. Sadie weighs in at about 22 pounds, so small-medium. Grant weighs in at a hefty 50 pounds, pretty much all muscle. I still consider him medium though, but I guess he could be called large. He seems to weigh about 100 when I need to move him though, lol.
