Here's a picture of my Christmas card wall of fame so far (3-5 of them are NOT from PT and I haven't received all of my PT cards yet).
(yes I was a dork and put one of my own up there lol)
Excuse the quality, I had to use the night time mode as my camera hates taking pictures when there isn't full light & they always come out a little blurry that way.
And excuse the mess in the background, I had x-mas gifts & cards all over the place and was sorting through some things so I have a few piles of stuff to toss to the curb &/or bring to the salvation army.

I want you all to know that the address mixup has turned out pretty well.

My uncle lives up the street at an address that is one number off.

The cards with the "624" have shown up there..

My cousins brought a stack over yesterday and handed them over....

We rarely see them so it was a nice surprise.....After i picked up the cards and left my mom's house, this thought raced thru my head.......

PT REALLY does bring people together......

I've held the cards, I wanted to take one here (moved to new york just few days ago) instead of california picture.

and have had them finally done, mailed today, they were mailed to whose I got from - 8 total so far. I know this late but at least I've extended your christmas and you have something for a new year. :D :p well, I wish mine were better. :rolleyes:

I love all the cards I've received, and, I thank everyone for the time they took in preparing them and sending them out. It's made me smile daily and that's a good thing. I have a confession to make, and, I should trumpet it out from the highest peak on Pet Talk mountain, because it's a huge confession. But, as it is, my voice is a bit hoarse and I'm only going to whisper it...out of shame. I've been unable to mail my cards, yet, and, so, all of mine will be mailed and received late. I've been sick for the past few months and unable to work a steady job. I've been able to work sporadically with a friend, and, am therefore able to buy Christmas presents for my parents. But, my funds are depleted. I'm not asking for handouts, pity, or even a reply to this...I just needed to say it. I hope no one is permanently upset with me. The cards I've made will be mailed soon...I apologize.

As I always remind people, the wise men didn't get there overnight, either. They can be Epiphany cards! (As I fear will many of mine be, because I just mailed them earlier this week.) I know one person (Dukedogsmom) hasn't - It was sent and has been returned TWICE now! Eesh, she lives a couple hours away and the FL mail service can't even get a card to her. It is out there again, somewhere! I will be totally peeved if it's returned again.


I haven't kept track of who i've recieved, really, I don't care much either. I do love the ones I recieved and loved even more making them and sending them.

All I can do is say I'm sorry and try to get answers from them. Though it's kind of like beating a dead horse. They surely won't get to participate this year. I didn't keep track of who sent me cards and who did not. I simply enjoyed the cards that I did receive and appreciated the trouble everyone went to with their pictures and special comments.

Yes, a few probably didn't send out cards that were on the list. But they may have had good reasons such as last minute personal expenses that made sending out the cards too much for their budget - or perhaps they were sick right before the holidays. It could be any number of things.

So personally, I plan on sitting down and enjoying the cards again at some point and not worry about those who didn't send me one. I don't think a criminal offense has occurred here ;)
