Dear Diary,

Yesterday Blondie snatched me up and had me in Fort McFarland (the carrier in which I traveled to California from Chicago) before I knew what happened. We didn't go far! I met a couple of nice dogs and then......oh my....the indignity....  If they wanted a poop sample couldn't they just ASK????

The doc said I am an excellent specimen and such a sweet boy! No stickers for my file. I was too scared!! I shed so much Blondie had a bad allergy attack and couldn't go to the gym!!

He did use some very bad "f" words.......He said I am not very fastidious and that I am somewhat fat....

So HH and I are going on the Atkins Diet for cats.... :(

When I stop looking so sad and pitiful....

Dramatically yours ;) ,

Oh Eddie,

I always knew you were an excellent specimen of cathood.(is that a word?) A totally gorgeous kitty, but fat? No way baby. :) Surely he was
joking with you. :)

Oh Eddie, what a good boy you are! Well behaved, no stickers, a perfect specimen indeed. I hope your poor secretary has recovered! Did you give her the rest of the day off?

We always knew you were a perfect specimen. Thankfully that is now a matter of medical record... a sticker free record at that! Well done Eddie!

Oh the indignity of having the ole plumbing inspected. Glad to hear it went well and no stickers. Best of luck with the new diet!

Eddie?!?! a diet?!?! :D

Well, I think you are just perfect. My kitties don't like the vet either, but they never had to have their erm..plumbing checked. Poor guy.

Ed,

If you ask me, that person that asked you for a turd is a turd...

I think you meant the "Catkins Diet"....

It's the one where you eat what YOU want to be fed.

Be thankful that you are still getting your tests in an "amateur-state".

Alot better than the "Pro-State" checkups.  :o  :(

Thanks for the uppydate.

The Edmeister.

Congratulations Sir Eddie on not getting any stickers in your "permanent file". I believe that Lady Edwina still holds the record for most stickers in a single vet visit. Perhaps this event should be considered for the next Olympics ??

Most males that I'm acquainted with Flunk the Fastidiousness Factor too. Seymour (my sister's cat) believes that it suffices to give an "air kiss" in the general vacinity. And it's hard to clean back "there" when you have extra Fluffiness around your middle. California is known for it's plastic surgery. Perhaps a little lipo around the middle?

I'm so happy to hear that the whitecoat didn't give you any stickers, he wouldn't dare after that plumbing humiliation. The nerve of that hoomin dissing YOU like that! But did give you an A+ for your check up. Glad to know you're fit as a fiddle.....

I should say so that you don't get a sticker on your file, after the humiliation that you had to go through Eddie.
I hope your meowmie is feeling better.

Hugs & kisses to you in hopes it will perk you up as that picture of you is just too heartbreaking.

You're too much of a sweetheart to get any stickers in your file. :) Good luck with the new diet. I personally love big cats. ;)

Atkins? For CATS?

Don't they eat high-protein low-carb ANYWAY?

Oh master Eddie, what a horrible thing they did to you! I agree, that was absolutely intolerable  ! Humans hey

Yes, Yes Eddie, what is it with the white coats' desire to poke, prod and probe! If there is an animal heaven (and we know there is), well, you and the Tribe know who will be getting their just "treatments" on a regular basis...HA!)

You ARE quite the specimen - and the "f" word we were thinking of for you was
FABULOUS!!!

Way to go Eddie! Congratulations on not getting any stickers. I don't think you are "fluffy" at all, you are just right!

Eddie, what a good example you set for HH!!! No stickers at all!

Connor says don't worry about their comments re your "fluffy-ness" - they are just jealous of your stunning physique!

Hope Blondie has recovered too! (Don't want HER to have to go to the whitecoats   )

Aw, Eddie I'm sorry for the indignity of it all.

Maybe you misunderstood the doctor. Maybe he meant PHAT (which means good) not fat, which isn't? :)

Atkins? For CATS?

Liz

If you look at many cat foods....rice and lamb is a common one. This "very expensive and only sold through vet clinics" is lo-carb, hi-protein, with fiber to make dats feel full!

Eddie,
you misunderstood the vet. He meant you were Fine. So fine....

Fat? We're sure he meant to say FABULUS!

We're glad your check-up went well. Don't worry about shedding too much, it's a natural reaction when you're violated in such a fassion.

Now you tell that hooman of yours to WARN you the next time the white coats plan on getting so personal. You have every right to know!

Best wishes and good luck with the catkins diet!

Eddie, it's SO good to see you again!! You do look a little sad though - no wonder after such humiliation! However, I'm glad to hear you didn't get any sticker.

I think the vet got something wrong here .... you're not fat, you're just well built!! ;) Still, a good Catkins diet won't harm you. Fister tells me to say if you don't like what your secretary serves, try asking for Hills C/D, that also prevents crystal build-up in your bladder - you don't want that!!

Kisses and scritchies, and purrs and headbumpies from Fister.

I remember well how Eddie can "throw hair" when he's upset!

Glad he got a "good" F and no stickers. Such a sweet boy. :)
