Ear mites :(
Cindy is the carrier. All 4 are getting ear drops for next 3 weeks.
Flea/Tick treatment for all 4 and Cindy and Eleanor get another treatment in 30 days.

I broke a sweat. LOL
Everyone got their dose of Revolution, oh joy I get to do Eleanor and Cindy in 30 days again.
Eleanor chased me all around the house.
The ear drops (Tresaderm) dont squeeze out easly. Everyone shook their heads inbetween drops. I ended up with a taste of the nasty stuff.
I get to do this for 2 more days (1x) a day then I skip and do every 3 days for 3 weeks.
Oh joy...........

P.S. We had a really nice dinner at Cracker Barrell tonight. :)

Tresaderm is a pain, but it will work. Clean the ears before putting the drops in if at all possible. You will notice less and less dirt with each cleaning. Have fun.

Update...
I'm so impressed by the Revolution product. It works what seems immediately.
Hardly any head shaking going on last night after several hours after application. The ear drops are antifugal etc product and I got some handy tips from receptionist at the office this morning on how "not to wear, taste or feel" the stuff as your applying it to a feline kid :)

It cured the digging in ears and continues shaking within several hours. Our vet wants us to dose Cindy and Eleanor again in a month. Everything I have read online and in the literature that comes with Revolution it's only necessary to do it once. They dont have bad cases of mites. Cindy had a small reaction. Really dont want to put her through it again.

I ordered online the ear drops which are 2 small bottles in one, for $11.99 our vet was charging us $17 for smallest bottle  They charge $8.99 a bottle (for small). 2 bottles at our vets (small) cost us $35
The vets office will get a fax from the company and they will authorize the ear stuff.
I get it shipped in 24 hrs and comes here in 2-3 days. In the powder form and I add the water which makes it a refrigerated drug.

I've found that vets often charge much more for meds than what you can find online. Sometimes, though, we're forced to get the meds through the vet. I think for any kind of drug that has to be given on a long term basis, it absolutely pays to check out the internet for better pricing.

On a side note, I quite regularly get refills of a prednisolone (5 mg) prescription for Peanut. From our old vet, 30 pills was about $5.00. From the new vet, it's about $15.00 - for the same exact pills, by the same manufacturer, same dosage - everything. So, prices on pills and meds are really all over the place at vets' offices.

Hope the meds clear everything up soon for your crew! :)
