A Message From Eddie

Dear PetTalkers,

Eddie would like to say he is astonished that any of his PetTalk friends would suggest he might harm little Jiminy Cricket. Oh sure, some of you remember that horrific incident with the rather high-strung Mr. Chips...the chipmunk.

No one was more surprised than Eddie when Mr Chips (over)reacted to Eddie's exuberant greeting with a fatal heart attack.

It was an unfortunate accident that continues to cause Eddie moments of sleeplessness...:rolleyes: alright not many but still....

It has affected Eddie's ability to establish new relationships, and in fact Jiminy....who was really rather boring....hoped off to greener pastures....north....in the general direction of LA where Eddie suggested he look up Annie for a good time.

Eddie ~ I'm ashamed of myself for doubting your inquisitive, yet friendly, nature. Perhaps if you ever visit Alaska, you could give etiquette lessons to Halo and Pepper? Their interaction with "the locals" does not normally lead to a long lasting friendship. :(

MY CATS,WHEN I WAS YOUNG,WERE GREAT HUNTERS,THEY WOULD CATCH MICE,BIRDS,INSECTS,AND THE OCCASIONAL RABBBIT.

Well, Eddie, I am so happy to hear that you have sent Jiminy up to Los Angeles "for a good time".

Annie has returned this kind favor by sending her lizard on its way to you for a visit. However, I wasn't able to check his condition before he left.

When Annie found him, she wanted to keep him - and looked around for her "pocket" - once she realized she didn't have one - she just carried him around in her mouth:eek: :eek:

Eddie, darling! How wonderful to hear from you on my return from holiday and to see your adorable self in your other thread. Strangely enough, while I was away I saw the most adorable black kitten playing and pouncing on what I was a leaf, but turned out to be a cricket. Sadly the poor kitten was not as gentlemanly as yourself and that poor little cricket is no more. :(
