To the person with a white cat with one green eye. Your cat is probably related to turkish vans breed of cat . My cat is a harliquin similar to a turkish van being white with particular markings. Turkish vans originate in Turky and there is a river there called the River Van where this cat breed is known to swim.

All cats came through different trade routes and boats to get to be all over the world. I am not saying your cat is a pure breed van but from a discussion I had in Wellington NZ with a man who is involved with cat shows, owns a cat shop etc I thought it was a good chance.

Turkish Vans have markings, Sugar is described as a white cat... all white? Thats the way I read it. Chances are its a domestic short hair (DSH) or a domestic long hair (DLH)
