Oh, I don't have any Dals but I love them. When I was really young me and my neighbor used to play 101 Dalmatians all the time! We loved them so much!!

I didn't really have a manchester terrier, she died when I was like 1, but my mom told me all that stuff.

I had a dal, and I plan on showing them and if I have enough money breeding them. Is yours Black or Liver? Have you had him BAER tested (hearing) Do you understand the health problems related to dals? Do you understand how high energy they are and that they do not take well to being tied up places? They need a lot of attention compaired to some other breeds.

Ellymae has black spots, 2 of her brothers and 2 of her sisters were liver though. There were other people there picking out puppies too. There wer 3 other families. And out of all the family's the little puppy ran to me, so that's why I picked her.

No.... I have not had her BAER tested....

What are the health problems you know of?

I do understand they are very high energy. I am home all day, I do child care at my house. She does great with the kids. Why would i ever tie her up? If I am gone somewhere she comes with me.

And yes, I do know they need a lot of attention compared to some other breeds, and she gets that attention every minute of the day.

She is also excersized everyday. When she gets older she will go on a trail walk with me everyday. But right now she runs around on my 2 1/2 acres. So she gets enough excersize.:)

get her tested immediatly so you know if she has full hearing.
Some people consider the Dalmatian a very unhealthy breed, but I think compaired to some others they are moderate. This page (http://jlsdals.com/Health_Issues.html) is a list of common health problems.
