Small breakthrough

Well, I had my own little breakthrough last night that I thought I'd share. Every evening I feed the cats a spoonful of soft food. For a while I put Roscoe outside while I fed them. Then I would give him a treat and put him in the other room. Last night, I had him sit right outside the kitchen while they ate so they could see him. And everyone was ok! He sat nicely and the cats didn't run and hide from him. :D Yay!

Thanks guys! It made me feel really good, I really want them to get along, but the cats are not used to dogs at all and are pretty scared of him. Lucky for us, he's very good with the cats, except that he wants to play with them sometimes and they think he's going to eat them ;)
