Here is a picture of our new puppy, Ginger. Her and her mother were sort of rescues. The picture is at 6 weeks old, and very recent.

Her mother is a papered beagle, and we are not sure of the father, but we are leaning toward german shepherd. What do you think?

She's probably the most adorable puppy I've ever seen, so incredibly cute!!! Makes me just want to reach out and hug the screen....:D

Right now I couldn't even care what her dad is.......... She is soooooooo cute. When I was little we had a Rhodesian Ridgeback (that is probably spelled wrong), and she looks a lot like him. I am sure that her dad is not an RR because that is a large breed......... and I don't know everything but I just can't see an RR and a beagle being partners.
BUT SHE IS A PRETTY PRETTY PUPPY!!!!

OH FUZZY - you just made my morning - what an adorable little bundle - makes me have goose bumps all over:D :D I can smell the puppy breath from here:D :D UMMMMM SMELLS SO SWEET!!!

What a beautiful puppy!
I would guess perhaps some lab. Her markings are so perfect and I just love the little white tips on her toes! I'm sure she will never feel a day of lonliness in your house. Congratulations on your new addition!

It's just not fair!!!! I want to at least hold that puppy! That pup is so cute - who cares what else he is.:D Maybe lab????

I would think a lab mix would be fuzzier at that age. My guess would be part smooth coated hound type mixed w/ LOTS of cutie pie DNA. Still have a bare freckly tummy??

The picture at the left (and top) is at 6 weeks. The picture on bottom is at about 1 week.

At first, her back and face were more black, and her toes were all white, those colors are fading though.

Hi, ginger is SOOOOOOO cute, and what a perfect fit name for her too, if her mother was a beagle than her father was most likely and positevely a yellow lab, she probably got her dark from her mom and the ears and light from her dad, I have a VERY cute yellow lab myself so I know all about them, anyway, SHES VERY CUTE!!!!!!!!!:D

Oh what a cute puppy!!! Awwwwwwwwwwww!!! Makes my dog cravings go up 100%! LOL LOL Ginger is an absolute perfect name for her too. Whatever the combo is, she's a precious one:D
A friend of mine had a female beagle/basset/lab cross who had puppies with a Blue tick coonhound, and one of the puppies looked just like your Ginger. They named him Cinnamon!:D
Give her lots of hugs and kisses for me!!!
What a face!!! What an adorable face!!! Oh you are gonna have fun with that little sweetie!! I think she has some lab in her too. Sandra needs to see this cutie! Whatever her breed combo she is definitely one of the most precious puppies I have ever seen! We will look forward to stories and more pics!!!!

My goodness is that puppy ever adorable! I would say that, along with the beagle, she may have some labbie in her.

Oh my!!!!! :D :D :D Is the puppy breath just wonderful?? I have no idea "what" she is, other than adorable!!!!
Ginger is a doll!! My first instinct said she probably has some Shepherd in her too, but who knows. Maybe it will become more apparent when she grows up. Sometimes its harder to tell on puppies.
She reminds me a little of Rocky, a shelter doggie who I had at my house for 2 days because I took him to get neutered then took him home to rest so he wouldn't have to recouperate in the shelter.

AHHHHH OMG To adorable :0) I want her ...lol.. she is soo cute. All these adorable puppies makes me want to get a puppy to. A friend of the family just got a beagle puppy I haven't seen it yet, he said he would bring it over to play with Hannah it will be hard to see it go home :D
I would say your cutie is mixed with a yellow lab or a red bone hound ??? whatever the dady is he sure makes adaoable babies.

I can see the beagle in her, but I don't see much GSD. I think if she had GSD her ears might go up a little more, but maybe not. She also might be a little thinner boned. But she definatly has some sort of other big dog in her, if she was that big at 6 weeks. Maybe lab?

I just met a Vizula (sp?) in my neighborhood named, Lilly. She had the same beautiful coloring as your Ginger and Ginger could have the puppy version of the face as well. I think you are just going to have to wait until Ginger gets older to decide what breed mix you want to call her.

Id have to say a Labrador Retriever mixed with the beagle. But other than that. That wittle puppy is ssssssssssssooooooooooooo adorable! :D I couldnt believe my eyes.:eek:
