View Full Version : Saying good-bye to Luna...

I knew the day would come, but now that it's finally here I am heartbroken. We had to place Luna in a pet home Sunday, as much as I am in love with her, she was just unhappy and depressed here, which was causing her to be grumpy with the other dogs. On a good note, she's living with a great family only 15 minutes down the road, and they will be bringing her back here for grooming... So I will still get to see her occasionally.
Can we have lots of PT thoughts and prayers for Luna as she adjusts to her new home and family, and maybe some for me too as I adjust to being without her?

Sorry to hear that Luna didn't enjoy the show life. I guess she just wanted her privacy. I am glad that you have found such a good home for her, and I am sure that she will do very well. {{{Hugs}}} to you, I am sure it was difficult letting her go. But it will be wonderful having that pretty little girl visit you every few months, and I am sure your other dogs will be happy to have her visit.

Yes, no more shows for Luna. She will be spayed in a month or so.

I'm sorry that you won't be keeping Luna but at least she isn't going far away and you will still be able to see her once in a while.
I also noticed on your website that you are expecting a new litter of puppies next month, so you have that happy event to look forward to.:) (And you know I will want to come down for a visit to meet them.);)

Oh I am so sorry. As hard as it will be she is in a great home and you wouldn't have placed her there if it wasn't a great home. Thoughts for you and Luna for your transition. :)
