ahh looks like a widow. To each his own I guess. I admit I probably wouldn't have saved him from the inevitable squish unless I was near enough to the door to quick shoo it outside. Have fun with your new pet. :p It looks like he likes that cap already.

That's a nice little setup for her. I like Gina's suggestion of naming her Lestat! She might also enjoy having a stick in her tank to web up. :) Have fun with the little buggy.

Its not a widow. it has a brown marking on its butt (OMG I use to be a bug wiz & now I forget the body parts of a bug).

hmmm put it outside where it belongs.. Does that mean I shoule catch the ramaining thousand in my bedroom & toss them outside?? To me they seem to like my room, they keep having their darn babies in here.

She doesn't need a stick.. she has a huge web already :D its all over the bottle cap & all around the body cap.. she took her dinner lastnight & hung it in her web. She nice & fat today hehehe

I have the lid open to give her some fresh air & she could careless, shes just chillin in he web upside down :)

I think I'll name her Fifi or Fluffy

Aww! It is so cute!

I am not sure, maybe just leave the lid open outside, and look at him/her every now and then. Spiders tend to stay put. We have one the size of a quarter outside our house with a clean web, and every night she (it has an egg sack on her back now) comes out and cleans it:)

Don't let a few people put you down. I'd have squished the spider so you re at least doing better than me. BTW do you want the spider that's curretly on my bedroom ceiling, lol.

I was coming back to check on your new pet but fifi's gone. :( I'm sad!

don't let them pull you down, we're here! (who likes fifi, look at those response). some people think the spider should be put back outside but they would have been eaten by cats/birds/bigger bugs, or get stomped anyway! but you're giving her a safer place and she seems she's enjoying her home, that's all what matters!

can you put her back on here? please? :(

I just cannot deal with it right now.. I had a really bad break down only 3 weeksa ago & I'm still very sensitive. I'm also dealing with the whole moving thing & this is just too much. Maybe I'll post something later, but I wont have Fifi then. cause I'm, not bringing a spider to my first home. I'll just let her go in my room before I start packing it all up. So manybe she'll hide in one of my boxes & come with me on the move anyways.
