So.

I have a cat now. Well, I've had a cat for about a month now.

I get home from band practice. I'm in the kitchen, making dinner, and Bella runs and hides. It's time for our daily hide and seek game. She loooves to play, and won't come by me until we do.

Today, for instance, she ran down the steps to the basement and ran back up, pausing and sitting on the first step. She squats down, low enough but I can still see her ears. I say, "Bella, I can still seeee youuuu... and I'm coming to get youuuu..." She pops her head up, looks, makes sure I'm still coming, and squats even lower. She EVEN moves her ears down into airplane ear position so I can't see them.

I tiptoe quietly to the step... quietly... shhh... I whisper, "Bellaaaa... I'm coming to get youuuu..." and she peeks up again, see's me and dashes between my legs.

HAH! I have found her. Winner AGAIN. :)

She comes back, does some head bumpies on my leg, and gives me some well deserved tooth rubs. :) What a good end to a looong day. :)

But now, little angel cat has turned into little Miss SATAN. I finish making my dinner, go upstairs to Pet Talk (:p) and I look for her. I can hear her bell... but where the heck is she? She's in the room somewhere...

*puts plate down*

*gets down on hands and knees, looks under both beds.*

No cat. Hmm.

*looks in blanket, she loves sleeping there... no cat*

Where is she you ask?

Hanging on the screen of the window. Behind the curtain. Chasing moths. You CAN'T see a BLACK cat on a BLACK screen when it's NIGHT TIME.

*sigh*

Oh, and it only gets better. Last night? Don't EVEN get me started on last night.

*hops in bed, curls up, goes to sleep*

"Meow!"

*sigh, 'Ignore her, she will go away.'*

"MeeeOOOWWWW."

*sigh*

"MEEEEOWWWWWWWWW!"

*gets up, opens door, looks at cat acting innocently*

"Yes? What do you want?"

*cat comes in, helps self to warm bed*

"'Scuse me cat, that's MY bed."

*pushes cat to end of bed, goes back to bed*

*wakes up to cat purring loudly in face, cat stretched across my neck, paws on my nose*

"Cat. Off." *pushes cat off bed, rolls over, goes back to bed*

This repeats on and off... twenty or so times a night until she gets the hint.

*sigh* Cats. What the heck? Lmao...

Welcome to the world of being owned by a cat. LMAO

I am sure each and everyone of us has or has had atleast one kitty that does that kinda thing all the time. My Vixen wakes me 3 times a night for rubs. LOL Get used to it . :p

Ah, the wonderful world of life with a cat! Groucho loves to sleep on my knees every night. He sits there and waits until I'm just about sleeping then jumps up, wriggles around until he's comfortable then falls asleep firmly attached to my knees. More often than not, he's still there when I wake up. Cats, gotta love 'em!!!!!

I'm with you guys...that's the fun part of living with kitties. How could you NOT want to cuddle up with a sweetie pie like that??? Sounds like she really wants to snuggle with you...

Oh, I don't mind, but I think she has a little bit of a URI and she sneezes on me... lol. Once we get her to the vet and get some meds to stop the sneezing I won't mind. :)

Oh I love it when my kitties pester me. Cats are supposed to be difficult because we are their servants :p There is nothing I LOVE more than a purring kitty laying across my face. It is one of the most comforting feelings in the world. I remember one day last year when I was fostering Motor (before my boyfriend adopted him). I had just gotten out of the shower. I was wet, chilly, and really really stressed about something. I got in bed and started to cry. Motor then came and curled into my neck, purring away. I can't even describe the feeling of warmth and comfort that spread across my whole body. Ahhhh :)

Am I the only strange one?

When I'm sleeping, I don't like to be bothered. I get REALLY cranky LOL I can't be restricted in my sleeping because I thrash around all night and don't like anything touching me. I will, however, remember a cat is in one part of the bed and make sure not to accidentally kick them but other than that, I don't like getting woken up. My cats are pretty good about sleeping until about the time the alarm clock goes off..Thank goodness.

:D The cat WILL win this round and many others. Get used to it. Aww! Kitty sneezes and kitty snot :p Mitzi does that to me every once in a while  the little stinker.

Now that I'm used to a cat who wants to sleep with me, I feel nekkid when one doesn't join me! Mishi is my sleeping buddy and I LOVE it.

THATS GREAT,THAT BELLA,AND YOU ARE BONDING,AS THAT WILL KEEP YOUR CAT,MENTALLY ACTIVE,AND INCREASE YOUR FRIENDSHIP,TO A MUCH GREATER LEVEL.TOO MANY PEOPLE JUST ADOPT A CAT,FEED THEM,AND THEN IGNORE THEM,AND WONDER,WHY,THEYRE NOT ACTIVE.
THAT SOUNDS,AS THOUGH,THAT WILL NEVER BE A PROBLEM,WITH BELLA,AND THATS EXCELLENT.
MAY YOU HAVE MANY GREAT TIMES TOGETHER.
