is there any way to tell if your cat is pregnant before she start gaining weight? (other than taking her to the vet)

Her nipples will be a little more noticeable and her belly (depending upon how far along she is) will look fat, but feel hard. The pregnancy gestation for a cat is 63 days give or take a day or two.
