Dr. Lee was very pleased! He took one look at her as soon as he walked into the room and smiled a big smile and said "Pud!" He gave her a sniff and said that she doesn't have that smell that cats get when they're in renal failure, which means the SQ fluids are keeping her hydrated. She even gained 1/2 lb., so now she's up to a whopping 6 lbs! :p I won't know the results of the blood work til tomorrow for which, btw, she didn't let out a peep! And Dr. Lee and the vet tech both came back w/all 10 digits. ;) He said that he doubts that her levels have come down but that he's almost certain that they won't have risen. If she stays stabilized, soon we can do the SQ fluids twice a week instead of every other day.
Pud was really anxious both going and coming home. She remembers, I'm sure, that every time she gets into that thing, it's at least a 3 day stay, if not longer. But I brought her home and she's snoozin' in the sun.
Life is good. :)
Blessings,
M
