Ripley's post

I haven't given a lot of time to Ripley here on PT so I thought I would give him a post all to himself.

He's my big old man at 13 1/2 years old and he's still fiesty at times. I've had him since he was 7 weeks old and he was my first cat ever (and only cat for over 10 years). He loves to stalk Jazz and he acts like he has romantic intentions even though that dream ended with a snip 13 years ago. Jazz must sense it because she gets out of Dodge before he can get her.

Anyway, I've had a bumpy road with Ripley because he used to attack me violently over the years but now that he has some siblings he's calmed down a lot. He's my hubby's favorite and knows it too. At one time he topped the scales at 22 pounds but after dieting we got him down to 18 pounds and he held there for years until recently with old age he's lost down to around 16 pounds. I think a lot of that has been muscle loss due to old age.

He is a very handsome looking boy! Congrats on the weight loss. Any tips for Rusty? He is tipping the scales a bit too much. Anyway, Ripley, I am so glad to see pix of you!

Lori, I am so glad to hear that Ripley has calmed down and I really give you credit for keeping him despite his attacking you.
