Ok, Catnapper Kim have at it. I am admitting that foster Opie is no longer a foster. He's officially Brat number 13!!!
Hubby and I agree that we simply can't give him up and it would severely upset Rosco to lose his new best buddy.;)
Opie is doing very well. He is almost cage free all the time now and the vet would kill me if she knew! He is a happy happy baby and I think the physical therepy is good for his leg. I just pray that I'm right and not hurting him in any way. He rips and runs and his limp is almost completely gone. He still doesn't like you to rub too hard on his back end so I guess there is still some tenderness there.
Also the little guy's cotton balls are not filling out and look a little strange to me. I want to be able to keep him here and give him time for them to hopefully drop so he won't have to have such invasive surgery. I know that happens sometimes but in Opie's case I can't help but wonder if the damage to his back end by the car didn't have something to do with it. I would like to give him all the time he needs!;) :D
Here is the little squirt!
He's at that "my ears are too big and my legs are too long" stage.

I sit cross legged and stretch my t-shirts over my knees and make a hammock that Opie loves to sleep in.

In this picture you can see how skinny that one back leg is and how bony his back end is staying. I'm sure he will fill out one of these days.

Magoo found out that Opie was Brat #13 and he gave him a high five!

I told Opie that he never had to go back to the shelter again and he gave me a wink and a smile. He already knew that!!!;)
