This place is on the Berlin Turnpike in Newington. I drove by it when I first got into town and decided to take a picture of it for Val and of course, Doogie!!!

OK, being food oriented as I am.....what the heck is "fried dough"???? Just dough that's deep-fried? How can that taste good???
I've never had a philly steak and as far as a 24" hot dog....well, I think I'll leave that one alone. :D

Great sign!!
Slick, Fried Dough is just like it sounds. Dough that is deep fried and sprinkled with sugar or sugar and cinnamon. Very, yummy!!

FRIED DOUGH is the BEST thing you will ever eat. They make it in Italy too and sprinkle it either with salt or sugar.....
Haven't you ever had a doughnut. That's fried dough!

Ahhhh, thanks for the explanation. Being that I don't eat any sweet things, including donuts, I was a little confoozled.
Actually it sounds something like the Chinese donut that you get when you order Congee (rice soup sorta thing).

A Philly steak and cheese sandwich is the best!!! It originated in Philadelphia (hence the name) It's made with thin slices of steak, onions, sometimes mushroom on a kaiser roll. WELL worth the trip!!
Fried dough is dough that is deep fried. Then you put powdered sugar and cinnamon or tomato sauce and grated cheese on it. I'm getting hungry.
A 2 foot hotdog (or Coneys as they call them here in Michigan) are self-explanatory.

There is an adult establishment called "Scooter's Showgirls" on I-94.
Upon hearing of Scooter's passing (our family cat), a friend said, "I'm sure Scooter is enjoying the high life with his Showgirls now."
Seeing that sign still makes me smile.
