Well we just got back from the vet with Emma!

Some of you know that she had an ingrown nail. Well they cut it and pulled it out, it was not in very far and it didn't bleed too much.

It is infected, however, so she has some antibiotics.

She didn't mind the car-ride much at all, she was looking out the windows on the way, and sleeping all the way home.

Now for some pictures of my pretty girl.

These were taken outside(leashed) while waiting for my mom to come home so we could leave:

And here she is after, happy to be home :)

I'm glad it wasn't too bad.. I do hope they showed you how to clip her claws - it's really not difficult, although with my squirmy two it can be quite, er, um "entertaining"

This is by no means perfect because I couldn't spend a lot of time on it but I wanted to see what it would look like without the leash. Hope you like it!

Emma without the leash looks like a unknown kind of mountain lion- stunning, of course:)

Glad the pawsie will be better soon:)

WOW Val - that picture where you magically *removed* the leash is terrific!!

Emma is such a pretty girl and that natural lighting really shows her off so well:D

I am so glad you were able to get her into the vet Robyn - and that the clip was not too bad on her. Great that you were able to find out she needed antibiotics before it was a bad infection, too:)

Yes, she did show me how :) I've already done Tigger's nails the way she showed me, almost lost some fingers, however. Emma is much easier ;)

I was expecting them to wrap it, but they didn't. It was bleeding at the vet, but was not bleeding on the way home and hasn't bled since :)
