"my only sunshine, you make me happy when skies are gray".....

You know the song, but I sang it to Roger this afternoon while he was on my shoulder, and he planted his sweet little head up against my nose and then my mouth. Do you think he was telling me to shut up?? Or did he actually like my singing?????

I would like to think he liked my singing too......but you have to wonder after my experience "singing" to those dogs in my car today!! They shut up their barking immediately!!! :o Maybe I need voice lessons......

I really think Roger likes anything "Logan and Helen"...... When my neighbor came three times to check on the dogs yesterday, she said he never even said a word!! And if he hears one of our voices, he is very, very vocal!! :D Guess he loves us, no matter what!!! :D

Maybe they were 'spellbound' by your singing. :)

Roger LOVES you, Logan :D You got yourself a little love there :)

Actually, that song that you sing to Roger was my Pica's song. I can't hear it now without crying because that beautiful angel would put her head right up to my mouth and she'd start scratching her own head with her foot. She loved it when I sang to her. It put her into "love mode" and she turned from hyper and playful, to a bag of marshmallows when I started singing "You Are My Sunshine" to her.

Pica would put her head right up to my lips, and while scratching her head with her foot, she'd put her head right against my lips so she could hear AND feel the breath come out of my mouth as I sang. It was really beautiful. It warms my heart that you are experiencing that with Roger. That was one of my most fond memories of Pica.

Those cockatiels and cockatoos are incredibly loving angels in feather outfits :) Please give Roger a kiss from me :)

I wish Louie would let us sing. My husband and I both work in music related industry and Louie can't stand music of any kind!!! He barks even louder if we sing to him or play any instrument...Thank Goodness the Kitties are "Rocker Kitties"!...Maybe Louie is just trying to join in?;)

Logan you are truly blessed with just great babies!!!!

You know what.....I think he does enjoy our singing. All music seems to soothe him, and when we are holding him and singing or music is playing, he just nuzzles us. I know that there is no way that Roger Williams (on the piano) or the classics like Mozart or Grieg could upset him. And he reacts the same way to my voice.....so maybe he's just in love with Helen and me. No matter what we sound like!!! :) I'd like to believe that.

What a dear thing, this fragile fellow is. We will love him always. :)
