I just want to say thank you to Karen and Paul who came all the way from Boston and picked up Albea (Alicia..I hope I spelled that right) and to Moos Mom who was here in CT visiting....we had a wonderful evening chatting and enjoying each other at the Olive Garden.
The night started off a little shaky as Mark and I arrived at the Olive Garden at 5:40 pm and put our name in. I was told it would be about 45 minutes to an hour wait time. Everyone arrived and we got to introductions and chatting.
Here are the ladies of the party. Sitting down from left to right are Alicia (Albea) and Donna (Moos Mom). In the back from left to right are myself (Meg) and Karen.

We then took one with the gentlemen. (Left to right) Mark (my husband) and Paul.

After a good 40 minutes I decided to check on how much longer of a wait we would have as they were seating a lot of people and the crowd was thinning out. I was told we had on ly another 20 minutes or so....well after 30 more minutes I went back to check on things to be told that our table would be ready in 5 minutes....after 10 more minutes I finally asked to speak with a manager and we were seated promptly. Donna will be posting a photo of me pi$$ed off...as she put it...actually I was being kind...I usually make Mark run and hide from embarassment.
We had a wonderful waiter named Larry,

who by the way has 3 cats of his own. He shared some wonderful stories of his 3 with us. Larry has Garbo (a male...long story on the name) but Larry used to captain yachts and Garbo used to sail with him and had his very own life vest. Larry proceeded to tell us about how he was packing to go to Michigan for a regatta and Garbo went into the closet and unpacked his life vest. Larry said he felt so bad that Garbo still wanted to sail with him but Garbo could not go with him on this trip.
