3. Leash Trained
4. Simmer Down!
5. Basic Training Graduate
6. Cookie
7. Canine Good Citizen
8.Pack Leader

11. I dunno, I need COFFEE!!
12.Top Dog
13. Over The Hill
14. Senior
Thanks again guys :)

Wow, only one more !!
I have LOTS of time to work on the forum now. My Dr. sent me home today on stress leave & I'm off for 2 weeks. Then I work elsewhere.
I guess its about time. My manager pushed me over the edge & I broke. It was mush worse when I got home, I fell right apart. But the guys took me out for my fav meal & bought the Secret of Nimh for us to watch & Well, I'm a bit better.
& working on the forum with such great help makes me feel better too :)

my hubby has a Server.
800 gigs of hard drive space
64 motherboard (that new powerfull one, we have a duel 64, but Tom has that in his comp).
I think were up to 2 gigs of RAM if not, then its still at 1 gig.
We own our cable modem & get Full up & down, something around 700k (dial up is about 64k).
We run an email server, web server & a media server.
I was given a web address & it came with all the goodies, so I honestly cannot help u in getting a fourm. Karen & Paul might be better to ask, casue they prob. have more skills & info on this then I do.
I'm also getting a bit of help from my hubby. Hes taught me some php (VERY little), tells me where the files r so I can change them & tells me what things mean & fixes it when I break it hehehe, & I learned html on my own.
Play with html on an online sime game like Furry Paws. Heres the html website I learned everything from. Its very basic & easy to fallow. well it was for me anyways :)

Most forums all you have to do is install it and it's all set up for you...it's not that hard

You just need a domain to host it...unless we're talking about different things here lol

I think we are hehehe
if I'm correct u have to pay for a domain name & then pay for them to host it.
We bought our domain name & host it our selves (lots cheaper). a server doesn't have to be a 2ed computer. I remember way back before we built the current server, I use to run a personal server off this comp. it was slow & unreliable :(
thats why we built our own. but we actually use its potential, so its worth having.
in this case, its not worth having a big server like us & paying for someone to host it is a bit better, but u need to have the cash, or find a free host & put up with ads.

Ahh, ok. My dad has some what of a server but he doesn't use it I guess??
I have a domain with lots of space/bandwidth and I don't pay THAT much..maybe 80 a year

but I think with a forum, u'd want a good amount of space & loads/unlimited bandwith.
When rob ran his gun forum, he was getting over 10,000 posts/month& then it went to 20,000. it was insane!!! there were sooooooooo many users while the main forum (gun nuts) was down for a couple of months.

Well the forum is up & working
I'm only missing an Image, URL & Quote button.
I cannot do this on my own, so I have to wait for Mr. Tech to wake up tomorrow to do it for me.
