The tale of the $50 Rottie

I went to Walmart this afternoon and some people in a truck were selling purebreed Rottie's for $50. :( Most of you know how much I've been wanting a Rottie.

I stopped and looked at them. There were 2 little girls left. One of them liked me. She gave me kisses and I got to smell puppy breath.

Of course I got my hopes up that I could have one, but I ended up leaving without one for reasons I'm sure most of you could figure out.

Now I'm crying and hoping that those little boys and girls all found really great homes like I would've given one of them. :( :(

:( aww, I know exactly how you feel! I'm sorry you couldn't get it puppy, but its probably for the best... if you're going to actually purchase a puppy, its sooo important to meet the parents, have a relationship with the breeders, and get all of the health and temperament checks needed. There's no telling what the temperament of the parents were or how well the pups were socialized. I'm just guessing, not too well, if the people were selling them for $50 in front of Wal*Mart. pft xP

I hope you get the perfect Rottie puppy soon! I also hope those pups went to good homes... :rolleyes: we all know puppies for sale outside of Wal*Mart are huge impulse buys.

You are a better person than I.
You'll be able to adopt one of them when they end up in a shelter because the owner thought "he/she got to big", or some other lame excuse. I'm sorry.:(

Aw, Dawn :( I am so sorry :( I am sure they'll get great homes. I wish you could have had one ((hugs)) Hopefully someday..
