Jealous dogs anyone???

Chico has been doing something really funny and flattering at the same time these past couple days. Whenever I, no one else but me, go to pick up Guapo or even pet him, if Chico is around he will run between us and demand to be petted and loved on. It is sooo cute. Just wondering, does anyone else have jealous dogs???

Maggie is jealous of Mandi, If pet Mandi Maggie bumps her out of the way to be petted herself. If Mandi is laying by me, Maggie has to lay by me. Maggie is actually to copy things Mandi does.

Buster gets jealous when I spend time with Jenny, he also gets jealous when I am cuddling with Tiger(my cat) :rolleyes:

Casey gets jealous when I pet another dog, she will run over and jump on me. She tolerates bubba though.

Mandy is extremely jealous of Lacey. She doesn't like me or my husband to love on Lacey. I'm sure it's because of Mandys heart condition, she's been babied. Lacey takes it all in stride, she's not as much of a lover as Mandy is! :D

my cat is like my moms 2nd child...LOL she likes my mom more than she likes me and when my mom holds our hamster...the cat meows and is like gimme my mommy back!! its cute

Tango get's really jealous if I touch any other dog except for her. She runs and forces my arm on to her with her head, I don't put up with it though. She's got to learn that when I'm petting another dog that it's ok and her turn will come when I feel like petting her....

Maggie gets really jealous when I pet or play with Autumn. She will push Autumn out to the way, and rub into me. Boo boo also gets really jealous of Maggie and Autumn, and even bits them and starts fights with them for no apparent reason. :(

Jada is the same way!! She does the same thing as Tango. I'm working on breaking her of that habit also. She is doing a little better.:)

If I'm petting Misty, koda will come and mount her and Bailey wil swat at koda.

If I'm peeting Koda, misty either mounts or shoves Koda out of the way.

If I'm petting Bailey, Misty will shove him onto the ground and Koda doesn't care.

Jealous pets? Why couldn't I have 3 hands? Oh, that's right I do, I had one surgerically attached!

yup, Happy and Misty sort of compete with eachother, its annoying and funny at the same time, they dont get snippy with eachother because I wont allow it, but they will shove eachother out of the way, like say I am sittong on the couch and Misty hops on my laps, Happy will run over and shove herselve between me and Misty, then Misty shoves herself between me and Happy and so on... :rolleyes:

Jesse literally lays on Sammy whenever I pet Sam and not her! Once in a while she will just shove her, but usually squash her! It is sorta funny, and Sammy never gets hurt, so I usually tell Jes to be nice.

Yeah, Logan gets a little perturbed when I pet another dog, so I usually pet them at the same time and say "good". But, Cody, bless his heart, was more jealous of a human hugging me, even family. He'd come barreling across the room and nudge between us and push the other person away from me. He owned me tooth and nail as they say.

I don't think MAXIMUS is jealous. He just wants to be part of the fun. Or greeting Kevin at the door after work. He wants to be first, or just makes sure he's not forgotten. He dosen't want to be left out. As far as other dogs, he simply won't share. We have to be sneaky. If we've touched another dog while we were out, he knows. You get the nose poke. He pokes you with his nose, rather hard, while giving these exaggerated sniffs. "Where you been?" "What's that smell?" "Puppies?"

Whenever Muneca's mom is getting the attention like we pet her or something she will go in front of her and she will lay down to get more attention! It is so funny!

Raustyk is a jealous type, a very jealous dog. I can't let her do it though otherwise her dominant side comes shining through. And not only that but Nanook is very old & if I let her do that she'll knock him right over. It is very very cute, but with any dog, if you let it continue it may turn into a behavior problem down the road. I put her in time out when she does it.

If I am petting Buddy or if Buddy is sitting near me, Sierra will come over and push her skinny butt between the two of us every time!!! She is quite the dominate female!! :rolleyes:

If I am petting or cuddling on Sadie and Maggie sees me she comes over and has to stick her nose in the middle. If I am holding Maggie and she sees Sadie below she will growl at her. She thinks she's top dog, but Sadie actually is. She was here first and will always be my first dog. They get equal attention but of course they always want to be with their Mom.

Not so much jealousy, but my 3 are always jocking for my attention. They got this lil' dance they do, trying to be the one next to me for petting. I usually put Murph in my lap, so he doesn't accidentally get stomped on, during the Collie shuffle.

Snowy is ok with other dogs but she doesn't like it if I have another dog on my lap. I guess this is just one way a dog shows how much they love us :D
