He left last night and I received this message:
"I put him in the office and find I have some computer stuff to do. Here he was begging to come up on my lap. Now he is purring while I type. What a little sweetheart! "

How nice of them to give you an update. I hope they join Pet of the Day. I'd love to watch that little boy grow up.

I know it is not possilbe but I think it should be a prerequisite that upon adoption they must join pet talk. I know I know but it would sure make it easier to see them go knowing we could still keep up on the progess of lack there of.

Some people take your interest in the cat's developement as distrust in their abilities to care for an animal. They feel as though they are being watched. I have also seen several placements where the person adopting the cat becomes friends with the rescuers and everybody seems happy with the outcome. So long as the little furry creatures are well cared for that's all we can ask.

I am a little sad Wonka is purring at another lap than mine;) but as long as he has a lap for purring I won't complain:)
