Here is his story:
When we were living in Nevada, Buddy got loose. He ended up being found by a little boy. They had an Akita and the kid fed him lunchmeat and their dog attacked Buddy :( Buddy had to be rush to the emergency vet and he had a lot of stitches put in his back. My dad gave him a bath everyday and in '97 he was going downhill and we decided to put him to sleep a couple weeks before Christmas. I have been missing Buddy like crazy lately :(
As most of you know, I went to a basset hound birthday party tonight and I couldn't stop thinking of him. :(
My dearest Buddy,
Your life here on Earth was too short. I wish you have never gotten attacked so you could have been here longer. I miss you like crazy big boy :( I'll never stop loving you.
