Where is my cat?
in the place I last sat
It's really a trap
a place to a nap
eyes closed, ears a twitching.
to sleep that deep? really bitching!
tail flops, then it flips
back into Nod, the sleeping cat slips.
What goes on, in that little kitty brain?
Does he dream of sun or the rain?
Does he dream of food or of mice
to sleep all day, that's mighty nice.
Burning calories asleep in the sun,
Now that's my idea of real fun.
He awakens to stretch or open an eye.
To change position or swat a fly.
He'll flop on the bed or on a chair
any old place to leave me some hair
On my darkest colors of attire.
Sometimes I believe that cat conspires-
To test my patience to the core.
But how can I bother a cat that snores?
He's painfully awash in that thing called sleep
He awakens quickly if he hears a peep.
Coming from his clumsy dad-
He shoots me the look, I think he's mad.
The sleeping cat, he's suddenly awake
From his body, the sleep he shakes.
I apologize,to him and he's he still is staring.
He's past the point of even caring......
The very next look says''Forget the reparations.."
Go to the kitchen and spill some Temptations...
To make it up to my little cat friend
Like a tree in the wind, my will does bend..
I go to the kitchen to grab some cat treats
And when I come back, the cat's asleep.
Let this be a lesson, to you all.
Nay to a sleeping cat, leave your will to fall.
The cat will not care about the pain that you gain..
He's just there to keep you from insane.
So the next time you hear a sleeping cat snore
Think of the trouble that you will score.
Trying to sneak, a sleeping cat by..
Tis better to leave a sleeping cat LIE!!!
