Yesterday, we decided to move 3 of our fancy goldfish out of our 60 gallon and into our 75 gallon, with our other 2. Sooo... we decided to make the 60 gallon into a tropical community tank. =) Today we went out and bought 2 Angel Fish (Squishy & Halo) and 10 neon tetras.
If anyone knows of any freshwater tankmates that can get along with angelfish and tetras, please tell me!
Pictures coming soon :)

there are many different kinds of tetras that are pretty and do well in a community tank....
One thing I want to comment on is that I know someone who had angel fish with their neons and the angel fish ate the neons when they got bigger.....

I've also heard about that, angel fish can be very aggressive, and they grow pretty quick.
Beautiful tank!!! :)

Wow, ours are actually pretty laid-back, and are a little afraid of the tetras. :p haha.

I don't really know anything about angelfish except my sister-in-law has had a couple for years. I know she had a few other fish (I don't know what they were, I just remember they were blue) that were supposed to be good community fish but she had to separate them because they were beating up the angelfish. Her angel fish are big wimps.

congrats on the new fishies.
Angel fish get fairly large. My parents had 2 that grew to about 4-5 inch in diameter, they killed EVERYTHING in the tank. They were lovely fish, but do not do well with others as they get larger.
I think we've had 10 angelfish in total.. they can live fairly long too.. when I was a baby my parents got angelfish & they lasted about 7yr. I still remember them, they looked just like urs.
