Meet Mac

This little guy has been coming to the buffet on my front porch occasionally for a couple of weeks. He would let me pet him, but wasn't interested in staying around long after dinner. He was very wary of carriers or traps, so I had to leash him to get him to the vet.

He has forgiven me for hanging him (really!) and is now spending 10 days in a cage. He has had the usual shots and been neutered, but has coccidia. He lets me lift him up and likes affection. Now all he needs is a furrever home.

Oh Mary he's stunning! Is his fur as soft and silky as it looks in his picture? How old would you say he is? I'll be thinking of him and hoping upon hope he finds a furever home soon. He's just beautiful.

Mac is at least 2, maybe more. He's not real soft; his fur has the 'outdoor" cat feel. It seems to be getting shinier now that he's getting regular cat food, and plenty of it. He has a real solid body and large round head.

He takes his medication in a spoonful of wet food without any hesitation.

Bless you for taking in this lovely silver guy. His coat will be even more gorgeous the longer he gets GOOD food and enough of it.

Mac, you are one handsome kitty! Remember to thank your for now Meowmie for taking you to the vet, giving you medicine so that you'll get better, and caring enough to help by bringing you inside. Sending you lots of lovebug!!!!!
