Tanner is 3 years old and she is house trained, but she has always used the bathroom in the house on the carpet. How can I get her to stop. We just moved back in November to our new house, but she has always done this even with new carpet. I have tried to clean the carpets with enzyme cleaners and everything. But she still will go indoors. I take her out before work, at lunch, after work, then about 7pm and then right beforewe go to sleep. But at some point during the night she will urinate on the rug at the end of the bed that covers the wood floors. I tried crating her but she even used the bathroom in the kennel. People have told me to use Pee Pads but she uses them only sometimes. I need help and some quick options. I love my dog but this is getting ridiculous!

My first thought is that it may be a physical problem.
Take her to your vet and explain that she is clean during the day but can't hold on during the night. Ask them to see if there is a physical problem.

yes, I agree with Carrie- get her checked out first.

I adopted a dog in July who was not house broken (she was 3 years old also). It took quite awhile and a lot of CONSISTANT effort to get her trained all the way.

Good Luck and let us know what the vet says.
