I am cross-posting from another site. I do not know this person and I'm too far away from Indiana to be of any help.

Maine Coon cat needs a home
Msg 1 of 1 by nautious17 on 07/30/05 09:48am

I have a male Maine Coon cat that is about 1 years old. He's very sweet, loving and needs lots of attention. I live in Indianapolis, Indiana and cannot travel very far from where i am because of money issues. I have pictures of him if anyone is interested. Please help me find this cat a good home.

Unfortunately I can't take him at this time. But, here's the link for the Maine Coon Alliance Rescue Network. If you can PM me with a little more information, like where he's located and a phone number, I will get in touch with my friend Carolyn and see what she can do.

Good luck!

Donna ~ Did you e-mail them that information? They probably won't be checking this website.

Lisa,

I sent her an email with the girl's email address. Hopefully she can find someone in the Indiana area that can foster him till a home can be found. I'll let you know what I find out when I hear from her.

Lisa,

I heard from Carolyn. She wants to know if he's a purebred. She said that if the girl got it from a breeder, there might be something in the contract that stipulates he be returned to the breeder should she not be able to keep him.

Can you give me a little more information on him? I wasn't able to see a picture of him. The more info I have to give to Carolyn, the better his chances are of being taken by the Maine Coon Alliance Rescue Network.

Donna ~ Thank you for trying to help. I'm sorry, but I don't have any additional information. I saw her posting on a grief loss message board and just copied it over here hoping someone could help him/her. They'll have to contact them at [email protected] for further details.
Thanks,
Lisa
