Here's the newly bonded pair. Caramella & Stellina.
Hopefully they go home tomorrow. Stellina still has an eye problem.
We'll see, with the powers that be!

They are going home together tomorrow!

I will really miss them, especially Caramella. I've had her since April.

Looks as if Stellina considers Caramella her adoptive mom- they are too adorable:)

Several weeks ago now, after these two girlies went home, the adopter noticed a 'bubble' on Caramella's eye. After several different treatments, it seemed it was a rather severe injury, down to the deepest corneal layer.

The adopter got her a corneal shield. And the good news is the sutures are out and the eye 'puncture' is healed, with only a slight cloudiness, that should go away as well.

I've been so worried for this girl. She was a special foster. She SO desparately wanted to bond to a mommy. I had to let her bond to me (and Bella had to share me with her) I just couldn't push her away, but I pay the price, by missing her terribly.

She is Piaccio's sister, the boy that was tragically lost to FIP, only after a couple of months with his adopter.

Keep his three sisters in your thoughts, as we don't want anyone else to fall to that disease. Especially, dear Caramella, whose been through so much in her first 6 months of life.

I'm glad that her eye healed out. I still can't get over how cute they are together.

Yes I remember that Caramella was Piaccio's sister and I hope she'll live a happy life for a long long time:)

We'll pray that Piaccio's sisters do not become FIP positive!! I'm so glad that the adopter was willing to properly take care of Caramella's eye and that everything seem to be healing properly. I'm sure you do miss those gorgeous girls but at least they are happy in a forever home. You should be so proud of all the work you have done!

Prayers and positive thoughts are on the way. I sure hope that they'll both remain happy and healthy for many many more years to come.:)

I have this exact cat tree and my furkids love it.:) Did you buy it at e-bay or is this their new adopter's cat tree?

That tree was bought by the adopter. It was made for her from a man on the east coast of FL, and she was able to pick it up and save on shipping.

Did you get yours from FL?

I wish we could have one of those. It's not the money (although-ouch) it's the large 'foot print' of the unit. I don't think I can fit it in the family room. And why put it in the bedroom, or somewhere we can't see all the action.

I bought it on e-bay and I think that the company is from Florida but I don't remember because I've had it for a little over 2 years now. I also bought another smaller cat tree from the same company. I put them in my livingroom in front of my sliding glass door so they can look outside and watch everything.:) Here's a picture of it:

The ones in the middle and right hand side are from e-bay.

Sure looks like the same one.

How big is the 'footprint' of the base?

I'd sure like to figure out a way to get one.
